look my way look out of my eyes and ears and speak with my mind
the subtle flutterings of forgiveness flying one by one out of my heart hands reaching forward to penetrate the swaying beaded curtain, knowing there is no explanation, left front finger touching a bead woven within these words, wandering waves of wonder working love leap lightly laughingly into the light the mind touched by an atmosphere of love awakens from sleep slides from one satisfaction to another the opening of a seed into a sprout into a sapling into a tree the opening of love into forgiveness into kindness into me my life is a prayer to a presence on the other side of the veil shining through call it what you will involuntary, my heart beat voluntary, my love of you inner eye focusing on the everything connecting thread knowing that if it breaks I’m shaking my fist at the car that cuts in front of me and the black gate swings open the gardener is here striking the weeds away she’s with us, helping each moment into the light of day gold, there’s gold buried in the flesh ancient, mysterious glimmering of brightness life everlasting all poems on this page copyright 2006 by Sylvia Partridge |
